Taking a child to the supermarket seems like an exercise in masochism.
In reality, passing through the automatic doors with offspring in tow is
more often an act of desperation than inflated parental confidence. To
ensure a more pleasant shopping experience, many grocery stores keep
shopping cart cars for kids parked conveniently near the entrance.
Before you give little Dylan or Ashley a license to drive, however,
consider a few basic "road rules" to prevent your milk and bread run
from becoming an accident waiting to happen.
